8. Candy Man
(trad) So this is NOT a real donovan cover but Donovan did cover this. Back in -65. And I listened it. And liked very much. I was just a young kid and didn't understand many words English back then, and this is the lyrics as I probably heard them. Or at least one way. When I see the right lyrics in front of me today, I can believe he is singing so, but I can also hear him singing just like this, if I only decide to hear so. Not even difficult. -- Jore

I don't think I appreciate just how difficult it must have been for Jore listening to all the Donovan stuff with an imperfect handle on the English language. I thought the Candy Man's name was John - but Jore's probably right - he's really Ben Angon. This is a really fun cover - great. --Davy
